The wind turbines at Lewandowski Farms near Mountain Home, Idaho have been donated to colleges in southern Idaho where they will be used to train wind turbine technicians. One turbine was donated to College of Southern Idaho (CSI) and two were donated to Idaho State University’s Energy Systems Technology and Education Center (ISU ESTEC). Each college will use one turbine and tower for training purposes. Additionally, one turbine will be refurbished and used to generate electricity near ISU ESTEC. A broad collaboration of industry partners donated money, time and equipment to lower, disassemble, ship and refurbish the turbines. Eagle Rock Timber's role was to disassemble the three turbines and transport them to the colleges.Donors include:· Lewandowski Farms, LLC · Ridgeline Energy, LLC · Eagle Rock Timber, Inc. · Tidwell Idaho Foundation · Frontier Pro Services · enXco Service Corporation · Hytorc For more on this story view the below links.http://www.kidk.com/news/46411107.htmlhttp://www.idahobusiness.net/archive.htm/2009/06/01/Wind-for-a-generation-From-humble-start-to-mega-what-ifshttp://videos.magicvalley.com/p/video?id=4288419http://www.magicvalley.com/articles/2009/05/27/news/top_story/162747.txthttp://www.ktvb.com/news/magicvalley/stories/ktvbn-may1909-wind_turbines.1b66bc44.htmlhttp://www.localnews8.com/Global/story.asp?s=10441213
